Announcements Events

There are only 11 days left and before we know it, we’ve crossed the bridge into San Francisco and across the threshold of the San Francisco Moscone Convention Center! Are you ready for the AGU Fall Meeting?

With nearly 24,000 attendees, the AGU Fall Meeting is the largest Earth and space science meeting in the world. Now in its 48th year, the AGU Fall Meeting is the best place to present your research, hear about the latest discoveries, trends, and challenges in the field, and network and make connections that can enhance your career. This meeting showcases current scientific theory focused on discoveries that will benefit humanity and ensure a sustainable future for our planet.
AGU-15-Booth1005

Berkeley Lab’s Earth and Environmental Sciences Area (EESA) will have a strong presence at this year’s AGU Fall Meeting, in San Francisco (December 14–18, 2015) at the Moscone Center. In addition to the various EESA-affiliated speakers, you can find our exhibitor's booth #1005, Moscone North, directly next to the Academic Showcase.

We just posted Our [email protected] Exhibit list of topics on our Events page. We will showcase several opportunities for visitors to meet members of Berkeley Lab.

See you in San Francisco!

EESA Scientist Coauthors New Comprehensive Guide on Removing CO2 from the Atmosphere2 min read

January 18, 2021

Berkeley Lab researchers are working on ways to sequester more carbon in soil, including through agricultural practices. (Credit: Berkeley Lab) Scientists say that any serious plan to address climate change should include carbon dioxide removal (CDR) technologies and policies, which makes the newly launched CDR Primer an especially vital resource, says Berkeley Lab scientist Margaret Torn, one…
