The EESA Frontiers Colloquium will feature lectures from our distinguished colleagues about topics that are expected to be of wide interest to the EESA community and important for EESA future directions.
Getting to Net Zero
Speaker: Margaret Torn, EESA Senior Scientist
CESD Senior Scientist Margaret Torn co-authored the first detailed, peer-reviewed study of how to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 – by rebuilding U.S. energy infrastructure to run primarily on renewable energy, at a net cost of about $1 per person per day. Margaret will discuss the study at an EESA event on March 31. Please join this inaugural EESA Frontiers Colloquium to learn about this exciting analysis and to participate in a subsequent discussion about the relevance of the findings to EESA directions.
