Biography
Ilhan Ozgen is a postdoctoral scholar at Berkeley Lab. His research focuses on computational hydrology. He currently works on multiscale modeling and high-performance computing of hydrological processes.
Ilhan is interested in computational methods for process-based hydrological modeling. More specifically, he is interested in high-order finite volume-type schemes, multiscale methods, and relaxation schemes to numerically model hydrological processes. Currently, he is working on multiscale modeling approaches for an integrated hydrology model in Colorado, supported by the Watershed Function SFA project.
He has been a member of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research since 2016.
