Biography
Jing Tao is a research scientist in the Earth and Environmental Sciences Area. Dr. Tao works on terrestrial ecosystem modeling with a focus on the coupled interactions between eco-hydrological and biogeochemical processes, particularly the water and carbon cycles and their feedback to climate change. Dr. Tao has a broad research background, including hydrology, hydroclimatology, hydrobiogeochemistry, and permafrost carbon-climate feedback. She has participated in LBNL belowground Scientific Focus Area (SFA) soil warming experiments, NGEE-Arctic, RUBISCO, and other projects related to water and carbon cycles.
