Kate Coldwell is the Senior HR Division Partner for the Earth and Environmental Sciences Area (EESA) at Berkeley Lab. Kate contributes to several activities which include but are not limited to:
- Advising the EESA senior management team in workforce planning, performance and salary management, awards and recognition programs, employee-labor relations, organizational development and the communication and implementation of new HR initiatives.
- Providing day-to-day assistance and guidance to supervisors and employees on Lab policies, HR Services, and HR actions, including hiring/terminations, promotions, salary, performance management, training, coaching, mentoring, medical leave and employee-labor relations.
- Serving on the EESA Inclusion and Diversity Committee and Awards Committee, as well as other Lab-wide process improvement committees.
- Coaching supervisors on the annual 360 review
