Ke Chen is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the Energy Geoscience Division at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). He received a B.S. (2011) in Geophysics from the University of Science and Technology of China, an M.S. (2013) and a Ph.D. (2018) in Exploration Geophysics from the University of Alberta. His graduate research work focused on full-waveform inversion, seismic imaging and seismic signal processing. His current research at LBNL is on large-scale time-domain 3D elastic full-waveform inversion in the exascale computing project and elastic anisotropic full-waveform inversion for crosswell seismic data.
