Biography
I am a Plant-Microbial-Soil Postdoctoral Fellow with the Chakraborty Lab in the Ecology Department of the Earth and Environmental Science Area at Berkeley Lab. Previously I completed an interdisciplinary program in Energy Science & Engineering with the University of Tennessee Knoxville and Oak Ridge National Laboratory. During my graduate studies I focused on plant-microbial interactions impacting phosphorus acquisition in tropical forests. Currently, my research examines microbial community influences on plant growth to improve biofuel development as well as microbial activities that drive carbon cycling in subsurface environments.
