Biography

Ram Kumar is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Energy Geosciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. He has received Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida, Tampa in December, 2019. His doctoral research was focused on reactive transport modeling of deep saline formations for geological carbon storage. Further, Ram specializes in CFD simulations applicable to environmental remediations and regulatory permits.

As a Postdoctoral Scholar at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, he is working on the development of thermal-hydrological-mechanical-chemical (THMC) models for enhanced geothermal systems.
