Biography
Sylvain Fiolleau is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Energy Geosciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL). His expertise is based on the use of multi-methods and a multi-scale approach to understand the processes leading notably to slope instabilities.
He holds a M.Sc. Degree in Applied Geophysics from the University of Grenoble Alpes (France). In November 2020, he received a PhD degree in Applied Geophysics from the University of Grenoble Alpes (ISTerre), focusing on the characterization of the deformation and evolution mechanisms of a complex landslide using a multi-method approach (geophysics, remote sensing and soil mechanics).
