Ved is a recent UC Berkeley graduate who received a B.A. in Environmental Earth Science. Ved is interested in a wide variety of topics in Earth and environmental science ranging from ecosystem science to regional and global climate impacts and prediction. Ved currently works as a Research Assistant on coastal algal blooms and as a Stable Isotope Laboratory Assistant, he is also concurrently taking courses for a certificate in data science at UC Berkeley Extension. He plans to pursue a career in climate and ecosystem modeling and prediction where he hopes to leverage machine learning algorithms to research ecological responses to climate stressors, general weather and climate prediction, and climate change mitigation.
