Biography

Xiangzhong Luo is a postdoctoral researcher in the Climate and Ecosystem Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Xiangzhong (Remi), receives B.S. in Environment and Resources Management from Wuhan University, China and M.S. in Physical Geography from Peking University, China, with research experience in remote sensing and vegetation phenology. Xiangzhong receives PhD in Physical Geography from University of Toronto, Canada, studying vegetation photosynthesis and evapotranspiration over large scales. His current research interest is to understand the interactions between climate change and terrestrial ecosystems, with a focus on the carbon cycle and water cycle.
