Xiyan Xu is a postdoc fellow working with Williams Riley and Charles Koven. Her primary research interest is using numerical models to investigate terrestrial ecosystem feedbacks to climate change and land-atmosphere interactions. Her current work focuses on validating and testing Community Land Model (CLM) and impact of climate variability on carbon cycle in high latitude. She is also interested in links between atmospheric boundary layer processes (heat, turbulence, topography, vegetation etc.) and trace gases emission and transport.
