Biography
Yang Zhou is a postdoctoral scholar in the Climate and Ecosystem Sciences Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Her research interests include tracking and understanding climate extremes, including the extreme moisture transport (known as atmospheric rivers), as well as climate variability and prediction. Here at Berkeley Lab, she continues her research on understanding the life-cycle characteristics of atmospheric rivers, how various low-frequency climate variabilities modulate the life cycle of atmospheric rivers, and how atmospheric rivers change in future climate simulations.
