She is working with Lara Kueppers in LBL and Elliott Campbell in UC Merced on a USDA project that exploring the dynamic linkages among regional climate, crop and biofuel markets, Land use, and energy security. Her postdoc research focus on develop and validate both statistical and process based crop models to quantify the corn and soybean yield changes in the future climate scenarios across the Midwest US. In her previous study, she coupled the agriculture version Community Land Model (CLM4) into the Weather Research and Forecasting Model (WRF3.3) and found crop management and growth play an important role in altering surface climate.
