Berkeley Lab has been collecting high-quality carbon cycle observations in collaboration with DOE (http://arm.lbl.gov, http://ameriflux.lbl.gov), NASA (https://above.nasa.gov, https://carbon.nasa.gov), NOAA (https://www.esrl.noaa.gov/gmd/ccgg), NSF (https://www.neonscience.org), and USDA scientists, NACP, and other research communities for more than 15 years. The FluxLab is at the heart of this effort, building on EESA’s staff experience with testing instrumentation, fabrication process, field deployment, and analytical facilities. The FluxLab has measurement systems built around state-of-the-art instruments from LI-COR, Picarro, Los Gatos Research, Thermo Fisher Scientific, EcoTech, and others to improve our understanding of atmospheric budget of greenhouse gases.
