Our researchers represent some of the best of the fields exploring water, climate, and Earth’s energy systems and, working with the collaborative, cross-disciplinary approach around which Berkeley Lab was founded, align their work with many of the laboratory’s premier strategic directives. EESA is currently engaged in strategic planning activities, which we plan to update on this page by spring 2026.
